RF12 demo for Arduino

Added by haeleng over 3 years ago

Hi,

Sorry I’m new, but perhaps again a stupid question.
I have an Arduino Uno Board with a RFM12b board
I have downloaded the Jlib library and unpacked it.
I like to open the RF12demo into the IDE environment, so I can compile it and download it to the Arduino Uno?
When I go to Jlib-RF12-RF12demo I should expect a .ino file or .cpp file.
Where can I find the RF12demo version that can be loaded into the IDE environment,
Thanks.

you have the full RFM12b board with the resistors etc to drop the 5v to 3v3?

I take it you have unpacked it into Arduino/libraries as a directory called jeelib

You will find a .ino file path: arduino/libraries/jeelib/examples/RF12/RF12demo

As above.

Hi,

Yes I have the version with resistors.
But in the directory you mention I do not see a ino file
See screenshot in attachment
So what am I doing wrong?

Odd, you even have a Makefile!

Do you use GitHub or did you pull a zip file down - you appear to be missing a number of the Examples.

Try pulling a new copy from: https://github.com/jcw/jeelib/

Pull the whole zip file if you aren’t using GitHub https://github.com/jcw/jeelib/archive/master.zip

I fudge it a little by having GitHub store the library as a respository in my arduino/libraries directory. Only problem is that Arduino locks the Examples directory for write so you need to save changed .ino files elsewhere.
