Programming JeeNode USB v5

Added by haeleng over 3 years ago

Hello,

I have a brand new JeeNode USB v5 board.
I use a Arduino platform
I am able to do a two node test with the JeeNode v5 in conjunction with a RFM12b board.
From with the Arduino IDE I can program the JeeNode v5 board via Com5
Then I have loaded the RF12demo.ino file into the Atmel Studio 6.2 IDE with a Visual Micro Arduino Plugin.
When I try to program the JeeNode USB board from Com5 it goes wrong.
As arguments for the AVRdude I have -CC:-arduino\hardware\tools\avr\etc\avrdude.conf -v -v -patmega328p -carduino -P.5 -b57600 -D -Uflash:w:\$(ProjectDir)Debug\\$(ItemFileName).hex:i
See attachment for a screenshot
Please help thanks

I don’t use Atmel Studio but I wonder if there is a setting to set the Bootloader version. The bootloader in the Jeelink will be OptiBoot and I wonder if your Atmel Studio is expecting a Duemilanove bootloader.

Perhaps setting the device to be an Arduino Uno?
