Build sketches for Jeenode Micro

Added by JohnO over 1 year ago

I am using Arduino 1.6.12.
Using board manager I have added the ATTiny core from https://github.com/SpenceKonde/ATTinyCore

Symbolic links shouldn't be required.

Ok, it turns out that I had a change in the RF12.cpp that I left in a merge from updating the jeelib directory. (I had an #include in there, for some (legacy) reason). :-/
Keep overseeing really stupid things ;)

Now it works.
I also installed the ATTinyCore. With the ATTinyCore the symbolic link is not necessary. However, when using the https://github.com/jcw/ide-hardware with the instructions to have a local "hardware" directory in the Arduino folder, it does not find the libraries installed through the IDE (may be doing something wrong), such as SoftwareSerial

In short: When I use as target board "jeelib micro", I need the symbolic link, when I use "ATtiny25/45/85" from the package above, it compiles without the symbolic link.
Will check if everything behaves as expected and switch to ATTiny45 of the TinyCore, as this seems more updated with more recent IDE Versions of Arduino

I'm glad you have things working now.

The https://github.com/jcw/ide-hardware only applies to Arduino IDE 1.5.x.
